Client: Fitness for Kids, Sharon Flanagan Owner – Childcare and Fitness Expert
Fitness for Kids was founded by Sharon Flanagan (Walsh). Her two greatest passions have always been working with children and exercise and in 2015 Sharon combined both passions in her own niche business Fitness for Kids. Sharon initially created her own logo and website which was a great success and established a colour scheme and brand that was cheerful and bright. In 2019 Sharon approached us to develop her logo further and create a new responsive website that would be appealing to parents and children alike. It needed to be a cheerful site where parents could view and book online classes and programs easily so it had to be user friendly and responsive. We wanted a bright colourful and energetic feel to the website that would mimic the quality and energy Sharon brings to every class. We enlisted the help of an amazing photographer Gillian Buckley to capture all the energy and fun! We are very happy with the result.

Client: Advantage Event Experts on behalf of the IAYMH (International Association of Youth Mental Health)
The IAYMH is a membership-based organisation for professionals, researchers, organisations, policy makers, young people and parents. Its mission is to change the way the global community thinks about young people and their mental health. Every two years, the IAYMH hosts an international conference in a different global city. Conferences have been held in Brighton (UK), Montreal (Canada), Dublin (Ireland), and most recently Brisbane (Australia).
Advantage Event Experts have organised and managed this ground breaking conference since 2013. Hensman Design have worked alongside Ronan and his team each time to design a conference brand that will reinforce IAYMH’s mission to elevate global awareness. We have also designed and maintained each conference website as well as designed countless pieces of collateral to include signage, programmes, pop ups, literature and much more. It is an organisation and conference we hold very close to our hearts.

Advantage Event Experts are an officially recognised conference, destination and event management company who have helped organisations, professionals and business of all sizes both in Ireland an around the globe for over 20 years. Hensman Design has been working with Ronan and his talented team for well over a decade creating multiple conference and event logos and websites, infographics, event signage and all kinds of promotional items.
Elaine is my “go to” graphic designer. She constantly produces excellent work for us and our clients and is a pleasure to work with. Elaine has a vision that good design should produce results and with her it does.

Client: Advantage Event Experts on behalf of Fáilte Ireland
In November 2018 Advantage Event Experts organised a major tourism industry event in Croke Park, Hogan Suite. Hensman Design worked closely with Advantage to create a brand identity to promote this fantastic event entitled Sustaining Success. Following on from the chosen identity we designed various promotional signage such as posters, lanyards, slides and pop up banners and big screen graphics. The event was a major success with over 300 key industry members in attendance.
Client: At Home Pampering, Karen Bowers, Owner – Beauty Specialist
At Home Pampering was launched in 2009 by Karen Bowers, Beauty Specialist. Karen saw a gap in the market for the delivery of premium beauty treatments to clients in their home, place of business, care home or hospital bed. Karen’s priority at all times is quality, quality in her delivery of services but also quality in her branding and its application. The original brief was to design a logo as well as a services brochure and other marketing collateral, which proved very successful. Karen’s client list grew significantly over the following two years which prompted the development of a new website. In 2011 we first launched athompampering.ie. Since then we have updated the company logo and the website with a complete new look. Karen understands that regularly updating the website with new content is of paramount importance for page ranking, we also integrated the website with with local seo entries which has resulted in new business enquiries on a daily basis.
From the moment I met Elaine at Hensman Design I felt she had an immediate understanding of what I needed. At home pampering was a very new business and I had no idea of where to start, so I wanted to use someone who had the experience to show my business as being professional with high quality services. From the day I started to use my business cards and brochures the feed back has been absolutely brilliant, likewise my website has proved very successful for me. It gets daily hits which always converts to new business. I constantly receive compliments on my company’s branding. I cannot recommend Elaine and her team enough!
Karen Bowers, At Home Pampering, Owner
Client: Dental House, Caslteknock Orthodontics, Pearls Dental
Dental House is a full Service dental clinic in Dublin 2, owned and operated by Dr. Ronan Perry (President of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland). In 2017 they approached us to redesign the Dental House website. After a few brief meetings to discuss the brand and imagery we established that the main focus of the website should be to show the range of services but also convey that it is a specialist clinic with a complete range of dental services across all practices. Upon seeing the results with the main practice website, the sister practices were subsequently updated too. We also design and print a multitude of collateral, press advertising, outdoor signage, digital signage, online advertising and posters for all clinics.

We engaged Elaine’s services to give our website a much-needed face-lift. Every step of the process was a smooth one and Elaine more than fulfilled our brief. We were so thrilled with the results that we got Elaine to design window graphics and signage for us to compliment it. The final product was so tasteful and on-brand. We would not hesitate to recommend Elaine to anyone and we will certainly be working with her again in the future. A true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Client: Advantage Event Experts on behalf of the Irish Tourism Industry Awards.
The Awards give recognition to and promote people, companies and organisations – overseas and at home – that have made significant contributions to developing, marketing, selling and delivering improved visitor experiences in Ireland and to increasing the number of visitors from overseas.
Hensman Design was asked to develop a logo for The Irish Tourism Industry Awards in 2015 to illustrate the celebration of innovation and achievement within the Irish tourism industry. We created four initial concepts for the client to choose from, but there was a clear favourite from the outset. Following on from the chosen logo design we designed various other promotional items such as the event menu/programme, powerpoint slides, a paparazzi wall and pop up banners. The awards have taken place in 2015 and 2017, the original logo and designs have been retained for future awards.
Client Hanley Automation, Swords Business Park.
Hanley Automation is a leading supplier of automation technology to global manufacturers. Hensman Design has been working with Hanley Automation since 2012 on numerous design, print and web related projects to include collateral for several successful global manufacturing events. Hanley Automation live on the cutting edge of technology, automation and smart manufacturing. Hensman Design must reflect their innovations by creating forward thinking branding and artwork without compromising on style. Our work includes website design and development, infographic creation, logo updating, oversized display artwork, icon design as well various collateral across all media.

Gareth Hanley, Managing Director
From local pubs to major venues, craft beer has taken over taps across the world. The brewers association defines craft breweries as ones that are “small, independent and traditional’ which is exactly the image Kevin from Craftbeer Growlers wanted to portray with his brand. We were approached in 2013 to design their new logo. Kevin had a very clear idea that he wanted to use a growling tiger as the main image so creating the logo was a straightforward exercise. We followed on from that design and created their printed bottle label and also their Pegas Tap brochure.
Client: TCP Group, TCP Homecare, TCP Logistics
The TCP Group is a healthcare service provider, specialising in ‘direct to patient’ services in the healthcare sector in Ireland. The company provides ‘nurse-led’ solutions to a range of services all delivered at the patient’s home. Hensman design has been designing for TCP since the company was founded almost 19 years ago. Our work includes printed collateral, online marketing and most recently video direction.
TCP had an upcoming conference and wanted to showcase their Homecare and Logistic Services. Hensman Design was asked to manage creative direction and ensure brand integrity throughout the process. Media Connect was brought on board to produce the video. We created a twenty minute video for the conference, complete with staff interviews, facility overview and action shot cut-aways showcasing the company’s attention to patient care and innovative software solutions. The video was then re-edited into seven short videos to be used on the website. All videos can been seen on TCP’s Youtube Channel.
TCP Group has worked closely with ‘Hensman Design’ for a number of years in the design and production of our Promotional Materials and Promotional Videos. Hensman Design are extremely professional and responsive; making it their business to understand our business in order that we present ourselves in the best possible manner – this is critically important when one considers that TCP is the leading provider of Patient Centred Clinical Homecare Services in Ireland.

Client The Galligan Beauty College, Grafton Street, Dublin.
Established in 1976, the Galligan Beauty College is Ireland’s longest owner-established third level beauty college. Sisters Careena and Lorraine Galligan approached us to redesign their company logo in October 2015. The original logo had been in place since their company was founded and they felt it was time for a fresh, contemporary approach. We decided not to abandon the original iconic G’s completely but to go with a single G instead. New colours and fonts were chosen and a complete suite of stationery, folders, inserts and college exterior were designed around the new logo.
Client: Tom Walsh, Head Chef
Tom approached us about rebranding his gastro pub with a traditional old world look and new name. He wanted to highlight the use of locally sourced fish and beef and had the idea of using imagery from old Irish coins. Upon researching the original drawings by Percy Metcalfe and the ideas behind using the Salmon and Bull, it seems that he too wanted to pay tribute to these iconic animals which have important historical connections with Ireland. The images chosen were lovingly redrawn and given an oxidised look and the new name presented itself out of those drawings. The images were drawn first in Adobe Illustrator and then painted and shaded in Adobe Photoshop. This is one of our favourite logos to date.
Client: Fagan Bergin Solicitors, Dublin 1.
Owner and Principal Solicitor Mary Bergin came to us to design a logo for her firm. The firm had been known as James Fagan Solicitors for a very long time and had historical connections in the area. Mary didn’t want to loose that connection and chose to include the name Fagan along with her own name Bergin in the redesign. We decided to go with the initials FB which posed an obvious design challenge! After playing with various layouts we came up with the above logo. The F was placed facing backwards to signify the past and the B looks ahead into the future. A full suite of stationery was designed ad printed and shortly after that we designed a new website. Mary did not want to completely rely on stock photography and also wanted to show the authenticity of the business, its location and her people. On site photography was organised with the talented Gillian Buckley. The finished website can be seen here.
